Sony was born in the icy north of Minnesota where Dad was a Minister and Mom directed the choir. Singing has always been a part of her life. Her ardent following was initially attracted by her CD of original material titled ON A SAN FRANCISCO HIGH, released in 2004. Her performances at the San Francisco Jazz Festival, San Jose Jazz Festival, Fillmore Jazz Festival and sold-out shows at premier clubs like YOSHI’S have garnered the praise of critics and fans alike.

Jazz & Wine! It's a delicious blend cultivated amongst the vineyards of Sonoma & Napa counties. To celebrate this affinity between wine & jazz, 4 wine country musicians have come together to produce Jazz On The Vine; an eclectic mix of musical styles, rhythms and textures. The featured ensembles showcase the talents of some of the wine countries finest musicians. This is the first in the Jazz On The Vine collection.

World-class jazz vocalist, Dana Land, has been performing throughout the Bay Area with an emphasis on the Wine Country at jazz festivals and upscale events for corporate presidents, jazz aficionados and private celebrity functions for the likes of Dwight Clark, Nicolette Sheridan, Kelly Preston and John Travolta. At the age of 19 Brian Withycombe ; producer, arranger, composer, began his piano career as a featured solo artist for a San Francisco 18 piece Big Band jazz group. Brian went on to be a part of many popular San Francisco Bay Area bands including 911, Stark Naked , Gino & The Hawks, The Blue Meanies, and Section Six . Brian studied orchestration and composition under the late great Don Hass ( Benny Goodman, Barbra Streisand, Wille Nelson, Sammy Davis Jr. ) and soon became a top session player/ arranger for many artists who’s recordings are heard through out the world. With over thousands of songs recorded, Brian  has captured many styles and genres of music. From Jazz to Pop, Rock to New Age, Rap to Reggae, Blues to classical, he has done it all. As a solo artist,  Brian's albums have sold over a three hundred thousand copies worldwide. Dick Conte is best known as a jazz radio DJ in the golden days of KJAZ and now on KCSM and KKSF (his Sunday night straightahead jazz program is a huge succes). But Conte's also an impressive pianist who has been gigging the area for as long as he's been gracing the airwaves. He's finally released his debut CD, and it's a jewel of an album.

Dan has been playing guitar for over thirty years and performing in the wine country for almost twenty. His repetoire includes a wide variety of music; jazz standards and ltin, classical, folk, contemporary and blues. He has opened shows for such artists as Jose Feliciano, David Grisman, and Ricky Scaggs.

Dan has played at hundreds of weddings, private functions, restarurants, and wineries including Robert Mondavi, Domaine Chandon, Buena Vista, and Niebaum-Coppola. He performs solo, duos with sax & flute, bass, or 2nd guitarist, trios with an upright bass, and can add drums and a vocalist.

Rachel Lauren's sultry, satin voice intoxicates the mind, heart and soul. Her amazing talent brings to mind a magical blend of Diana Krall, Norah Jones and the great Ella Fitzgerald. Rachel captures audiences with her smooth, deep voice and they see the poise of a young lady mature well beyond her years. Rachel's ability to appeal to fans in her own age range all the way up to long time jazz listeners sets her apart from other young artists. She is passionate about bringing jazz to a whole new generation.

Jazzaholics are a trio of outstanding musicians who are based in the San Francisco Bay Area. This exciting contemporary jazz trio is comprised of Steve Carter on Piano, Dennis Smith on bass and Al Marshall on drums. These musicians have performed and toured throughout the United States, Canada, Europe and Japan with a wide variety of artists.

Jeffrey has been playing piano since the age of ten, when he began his formal musical training in classical piano under the tutlelage of Julia McCaslin and Samuel Rodetsky. During that time, he won numerous scholarships and awards, performing regularly in many open competitions and recitals. After eight years of private lessons, his interests began to blossom; he branched out and taught himself to play many other styles and types of music, including what would eventually turn out to be his passion...jazz. Jeffrey currently owns and runs his own recording studio, production company, music publishing company and independent record label (the latter two with his long-time friend and business partner, Steve Creason).

Dangerous Divas is a trio of professional, exceptional, singers that specializes in acappella songs of the 30's through the 60's. They dress in costumes of the era and are an immediate favorite of every audience. Formerly "Girls' Night Out" the trio has charmed crowds at such venues as the Sausalito Art Festival, the San Francisco and San Jose Harvest Festivals, the Sweetwater and Bimbos. They have sung the National Anthem for the Giants and the Oakland A's. Dangerous Divas is available for private parties, conventions and special events throughout the Bay Area.

Frederick Nighthawk is a rising talent in the San Francisco Bay Area. As a pianist, singer and songwriter drawing from a background rich in the blues, country, and jazz traditions he has forged an exciting and unique style.
